Privacy policy

This explains what we collect when you visit or order from this store, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach us.
  • When you email us: whatever is in the email, kept with your order so the next person who answers you has the context.
  • When you browse: pages visited, device type and approximate location from your IP address, plus cookies, which you control.

Why we are allowed to

To perform the contract when you order; on the basis of legitimate interests to run and protect the shop and to answer you; on the basis of legal obligation for tax and accounting records; and on the basis of consent for marketing email and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who else sees it

Our ecommerce platform (Shopify), our payment processor, the carrier that delivers your parcel, our email provider, and analytics and advertising services where you have consented to them. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order records for six years, because tax law requires it. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Support emails for two years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to loominouscontact@gmail.com and we act within one month. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your basket and your session working. Analytics and advertising cookies run only if you accept them, and you can change your mind from the cookie banner or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Children

Our products are made for children, but this shop is for parents and carers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
